With the numbers telling me it’s a ‘69, I would have to dig deeper into the construction of the car. My first thought was a ‘69 that has been clipped with a ‘68 back half. Mixing different years with some cars was not so uncommon in the 70s and 80s. If a look at the underside of the floor pans doesn’t confirm a cut, I pull the sill plates and lift the carpet. Also look under the pacage tray area for a different paint color. Just my thoughts.
