70 TA muffler
My attempt to install a 70 TA muffler on my engine test stand was unsuccessful. The muffler is a few inches wider than the aftermarket replacement cross flow muffler I am currently using. Because of the width difference I couldn't use the existing brackets I made to mount a muffler.
I'm curious if the "6 70 A" is a date code? Also is it possible the tail pipes were welded at the factory?
