No fenderwell cutting done. Pull it out and the area in the center between the two bolts is the worse area. Just slightly massage fender lip. I did it own a little more in front and rear. Then put fender well back in.
If you need new upper A arm bushings that's the time to do it easy access without a fenderwell in.
The only time I really had rear seat belt bulge issues was with 265-50-15s.
