The 1964 Thermostat Housing points toward the Passenger side of the vehicle.

The 1965 Thermostat Housing points straight up.

The 1966 Thermostat Housing points toward the Drivers side of the vehicle.

With either the 64 hose or the 66 hose you need a 90 degree rubber elbow that fits the 65 Thermostat Housing and a short piece of metal tubing that matches the 64/66 hoses and the elbow. And the hose clamps to hook it all up properly.

I realize that you need to mod things.

I replaced the 64 Radiator on my 64 GTO with a Racing Circle Track (High Fin Count per inch 4 core+ unit) Radiator but was able to just install a 1966 Thermostat Housing and Hose.
