66 would have been better if they'd done the same rocker molding treatment for it as they did for the 67 GTO. Wire mesh in the 66 grills would have worked too.
I always wondered why Pontiac never used the 3 speed automatic tranny (turbo350?) that was in the B-body cars. The ST-300 just didn't cut it in the A-bodies.
