Years ago, whenever I would get a car & go through the steps of detailing it I would usually replace the headlamps, taillights & side marker bulbs. It always bothered me when a bulb would be out, or a headlight not as bright as the other so I would just change them all out before it could even happen. the halogens were brighter & it was a cheap upgrade. I probably tossed a lot of working oem bulbs 20-30 years ago.
Funny how things change......
