Flarestat sold to both the aftermarket and to dealers with a specific part number. Some of the aftermarket pieces had logos on the knob such as the Chevy bowtie, GMC, etc. There were several styles of knobs and mounting brackets. Shown is a Pontiac accessory part and the style was pretty much the same for all GM divisions. If you find a NOS piece it should have the instructions. If not, just do a search for flarestat instructions.
