Using it as a booster pump, retaining the mechanical. Since the stock pump is a turbine design, the booster can "blow through" at low rpm.

I used a DC Control controller on one car with electric pump and fan - I could turn them on manually, or the controller would keep them running after shutdown until the temp dropped to about 175 or so.
