The one I have are stock , I have no tall covers . If you are close to fitting and want the original look there are extensions that will raise the cover and thicker gaskets can be used also . I haven't decided what covers I'm using on my 455 that I'm doing right now but I have a set of the chrome extension and the original style chrome valve covers and the 3/8 thick gasket . I do have a set of chrome baffled valve covers that has very little rust spots on the lip area where the bolts are . These may be able to be used if you have the thicker gaskets also.
