The 74 has always been my favorite...maybe because my first new car was the one I bought back in 1974. I traded a 69 GTO on it. The GA was supposed to be the new GTO, with more comfort and luxury added to it. Compared to earlier model cars, they drove and handled extremely well. The 400 or 455 were adequate, but far short of the pre-smog cars from earlier. Today, you can correct that.

They are hard to find now days and restoration can be expensive and difficulty. I would love to find one restored or excellent original. Prices according to Old cars is not high, but many owners place a much higher price on them that actual sales reflect.
