Default Front brake lines and brackets

My car is original power drum and I will be converting to either Wilwood or Baer brakes. I am replacing the brake lines so first question is,

-since I have headers on the car, I thought it might make better sense to use the pre-bent lines for a R/A HO car since it may provide more clearance. Can anyone confirm?

-The frame brackets that bolts to the frame and the flex lines hook to are different from drum to disc. The disc brackets look longer. Any reason I can't use the frame brackets I have?

I had converted my drag car to discs ( 65 GTO, sold) and I don't remember having any issues with the brake hose length. Additionally, I had my brackets powdercoated when the frame was done, separately of course. ...and obviously if I retain the drum brake brackets I will want to use the pre-bent kit for power drum brakes. Yes I realize I will have to adjust at the m/c for the proportioning valve.
