I have bought my last two vehicles searching through CARFAX. Usually has good photos. You can tell a lot by how well an interior is kept up. The carfax history will tell you where the vehicle has been and sometimes you will get a good service history. I bought a 2wd truck in Minneapolis. It was a trade in from a person from TX who wanted a 4wd for the winters up there.
