Many Cities,Villages,have had bans on the old fashion 60's-70's cruises for years. The only actual driving cruises in my area are usually held by a local car club and organized with the cities permission. Their are plenty of weekly- or once a month cruise-in parking events to attend. In my home town we use to call the downtown cruise area the "Circuit" ten blocks up 3rd street,ten blocks down 4th street.The city has had a ban on cruising for over 25 years. When the law went into effect,anyone seen lapping the circuit more than twice would get pulled over and issued a ticket. Pretty much chased all the young crowd from the downtown area back in the day.
