We had a hand-me-down sheetmetal tunnel ram on the Grocery Getter and it was notorious for stalling at the end of a big burnout. It had a pretty big plenum.
We switched to the Gutsram and problem solved.
So I guess my general thought is to use spacers or something like that (not permanent) so you can try different plenum volumes till it's optimized.
