I have a 1B11 436 starter that someone is trying very hard to buy. I need one for an early April 1972 build 1972 Lemans Covertible 455HO. Approximately what date code should be on my 72 455HO.
I dont know about other applications. Just this: all the 100% untouched original cars that have surfaced have had this weird single date "1B11" 436 starter. It's as if they used a time machine to go back and pull a pallet full of them from a warehouse and shipped them forward in time two years. :-o

Or the engineers were plotting the SD455 coup far in advance to hide their tracks from management. :-)
