It uses wood behind the door frame opening but that's about it. It had a canvas top at one time and the body was made to flex near the windshield post on top. Mine has a oval back window. I think some of the late 20s Pontiacs also used a oval back window.

I am also going for a traditional rod mid 60's period and they definatly look better without fenders
