That sounds more like what i was doing - escalated claims.
Thats when they get on top of it , and mediate , and do judgement.
They have you covered pretty good right now it sounds like.
He would also know he has until the 19th.
If he fails on that - he is banking on you bluffing or bailing out.
Keep up the persistence.
