Just a couple of quick points... I have a friend that owns a glass business. He says use the 5/16 Butyl tape, 3/8 is too thick and you will have problems getting the trim back on. Secondly, he says by law, he as in through his business, is not allowed to use Butyl tape to re-install any glass. He can't reinstall my glass for me because i want to use Butyl, but he said he can help me on the weekend.
