If you had an engine buider that knows you would not have to turn to online forums for information and direction. That is the confusing part for me about all of this.

Another thing you might want to consider once you get this engine stuff sorted out is a rev limiter (I suggested before) and maybe baby it for a year or two so you get some enjoyment with the family under your belt. Drive it like a 2 barrel smogger type of deal. The most fun I had with my car was when it was moving on its own power not a sitting all shiny.
