I think I agree with you. I wish it was easier to do all this, everything seems so suggestive. Maybe someone simply knows the paint code for the semi-gloss black on the dash

I found this:
Flat (1–9% gloss)Low Sheen (10–25% gloss)Eggshell (26–40% gloss)Semi Gloss (41–69% gloss)Gloss (70–89% gloss)
