You have to know how your car was equipped, and you would need to see a bunch of tags from other Van Nuys cars to compare which RPOs were noted on the tag.
Typically they are codes relevant to and affecting the body build. Powertrain options, like manual vs automatic trans, might appear because you have to cut a hole in the floor for a shifter. Conversely, an engine option would not appear if it did not alter the body.
The codes themselves (ie, "C60", or "A33", or "G80") remain fairly standard (there is some reassigning and reuse of codes) and are still in use today.
