Make sure they're good quality LEDs that can be dimmed. Also just replace the illumination bulbs but leave 194s in the warning and signal lights. I read somewhere that the Delco charging system require the small amount of resistance in the incandescent bulbs to operate correctly. Since LEDs are polarity sensitive, test for proper operation before reinstalling the dash. If an LED doesn't work, just turn it 180* and try again.
