Only thing I will give Toyota credit for is standing behind their product. They replaced a lot of those rotted Tacoma frames. GM would have told you to F.O.
From a superiority aspect, they are not. While the 5.7 is a powerhouse, it is unreasonably thirsty. No excuse for that in 2019.
I have had several GM trucks, and all of the A/C systems performed flawlessly.
