Default Mo Trail Clearing

Continued clearing the same trail. I used the Kioti, 12" Kobalt, & pruning shears. TJ used the Dewalt hedge trimmer & long handle limb loppers.

Everything was going real quick, 'til we came upon 3 big pines that had blown across the trail. Didn't measure 'em. But one looked to be between 16" & 18". And one tree lay across the other 2.

The 18" Kobalt would have cut 'em. But it would have taken 6 cuts, in order to make chunks the Kioti would roll.

A quick assessment revealed that it would be MUCH quicker & easier to just go around. After cutting just a few very small saplings, the Kioti & bush hog made a new trail detour thru the cut-over, which was only a few feet to the West of the main trail. Didn't really need to cut anything in the cut-over. The Kioti made the trail. By that time, it was hot, I was tired, & the skeeters were bad.

So, we called it a day. Part of that trail has some wet spots. So, have to use 4WD to get thru it. Thankfully, TJ's horse has full time 4WD. They go thru stuff I wouldn't even attempt.
