Like Steve B. said, not many buildings of any kind more than 50yrs old in the Phoenix area, but this thread sure brings back the memories of growing up as a "country boy" in Ohio.

My first summer time job was at a Chrysler/Dodge dealer in Geauga County at the intersection of routes 44 and 322 in rural northeast Ohio. It was called Crossroads Auto or Junction Auto or something like that. Wow the memory has faded some since 1978!

At that time I had the impression that it and the gas station kitty-corner were the oldest businesses in the area. Hmm I wonder what it looks like today or if it is still even there... Hopefully the cookie-cutter housing developments and strip malls have not taken over the area like they seem to be doing all over AZ.
