In late '74 I bought a really loaded '68 GTO convertible for $400 tax and title included. PS, PB, PW, Pwr seat, tilt, a/c, posi, buckets, console, Dual Gate, Hideaways. Verdoro green with black top and interior. It needed a top, front end work, had a leaky trans and was missing a muffler and a deluxe wheel cover. Worn tires. 57,000 miles. A little front fender rust but hey, it was Pittsburgh. My old man was incensed as his idea of a good car was a Karman Ghia. I had to take it back. My first car.
