you need the frame mounts and pads for a 1970 firebird.

or what I used in my 78 firebird to mount older engine is a set of 2 bolt to 3 bolt mount adapter brackets. that should let you use the chevy clam shell frame pads. you will still probably have to move them since if I remember correctly the pontiac mounts are slightly forward of the chevys and one is a little more forward than the other.

simply bolt everything to the engine with whatever setup you choose set it in place, mark the bolt holes and pull it out to drill.

All modern gms use the same mounting angles at the frame and fan centerline.
