Looking at the intake I am surprised the engineers designed it with the huge secondaries dumping so close to the middle cylinders with those short runners.
It seems like the four outboard runners would get less fuel/air than the 2 in the middle.
I wonder if they ever considered mounting the carb with the primaries closest to the ports. Probably would make the uneven distribution more pronounced running on the primaries.
