My car is a 1964 Catalina Executive 4 door sedan.

stock: it had am radio, Air Conditioning, Seat belts in front, Power steering, 389 O5L engine, 2.56 to 1, with a Roto Trans. Weight around 4100#.


Racer: No seats, bucket for driver only, No A/C, No Power Steering, cross bracing for rear seat removed, heater removed and all extra sheet metal up front, flat panels made from aluminum road sign material. wet weight: 3650# Race weight: 3945#

Engine:
Stock WX 455 out of a 76 Trans Am
Stock Crank
Stock Rods
Stock Cast pistons with 9 CC champher
Stock large inlet oil pump, changed from small inlet on this engine
Stock oil pan w/baffle no windage tray
Cam: Ultra Dyne...can't find my card at the moment
Cam Chain: Cloyes Double Roller
Lifters: Pep Boys replacements, good for 5500 RPM
Pushrods: stock for heads used
Valves: stock, Ram air 4 springs & retainers. no shims
Heads: casting 98 2.11 intake 1.60 exhaust, 3 angle, no porting, .030 off surface
C.R.: 8.6 to 1 87 octane fuel
Rockers: JBP Aluminum rollers at 1.60
Lift at the valve: 5.12 intake 4.98 exhaust
Headers: Unknown Make 4 tube headers into 3" collector
Exhaust: 3" pipe into 4 chamber flow masters, dumped at the rear end
Distributer: Stock Point type, Accel 32oz points, cap, rotor, Beldon 8mm wires, accel coil, resistored
Advance: 14* locked at idle, 34* total at 2800, No Vacuum
Spark Plugs: Autolite
Manifold: Edelbrock Torker II
Gaskets: Felpro
Carb: Holley 750 cfm Vacuum secondary set as lite as it can, no choke, 2.5 PV
Jetting: its been so long since I had it apart, I don't remember
Air Cleaner: 8" round, 6" tall K & N sticks partally into scoop
Water pump: stock, electrically driven
Alt: internal regulated, belt
Damper: Stock, used to have timing tape

Transmission: T-400 short tail
Rebuilt? Yes, by owner with mods from T-400 book, shift kit, seals modified
Converter: GM-6 HD Stock replacement for 427 Corvette Ect.
Stall: Roughly 2200-2400
Driveline: 4" Lincoln shaft with the ends made to GM 64" long W/loop 8" behind yoke
Shifter: full ratchet up and back

Rear end: Stock 64 Pontiac
Gears: 3.42 to 1 with "spyer locks" no spool, no Saf-T-Track
front tires: 215/75/15" Rear: 9 X 28 X 15 Mickey Thompsons
Fuel Pump: Holley Blue with regulator
Fuel tank: 9 1/2 gallon cell in trunk Battery: in trunk 1 or 2
Fuel line: stock no return

Power Adder: 150 Plate shot of NO2 at owner descretion. not linked to throttle
10# bottle in trunk, best pressure to run this car.....940-1000 PSI 115V heater

Brakes: single circuit, Manual Drum/drum
Axles: Stock
Steering: Manual box transplanted

extra engine filter: Frantz oil Cleaner with Modified roll of CHARMIN TP
engine filter: Purolator Blue stock type
Oil used: Castrol Syntec 20-50
Oil changed at: I don't change the oil, just the filters, OIL IS 7 YEARS OLD
Gauges added: Hour Meter, Oil, Volt, Temp and 8000 Autometer Tach with Sh/lite
Hours on meter since car in this configuration: 152
Street driven? yes, it is licensed and can be driven legally on street
Fastest speed driven: well over 120 +

launch RPM: Just off idle to 1400 in low, manually shifting, shift light set at 5200 rpm

1/4 mile results: LACR 13.69 on engine, @ 98 12.58 NO2 @ 106.9
POMONA: 13.25 on engine @ 102. 6 12.05 NO2 @ 114.7
Sears Point: 13.20 on engine @ 1--.- 11.93 NO2 @ 111.7
The 11.93 was a surprize and I got in trouble because the car wasn't set up for that.
It launched so hard it knocked the wind out of me, and yes I have a copy of the time slip for both Pomona and Sears Point (infineon raceway park)
