The only 455 engines I am aware of to receive the same cam as the w31 350 (308/308) cam were the 68-69 Hurst Olds cars which were 390 hp. One of the McClarens here is built up like a Hurst Olds 455. But has C heads instead of D’s. It has a noticeable ruff idle. The w33 390 hp police 455 had the smaller #400165 285/287 cam like the w30 autos in 70. Lots and lots of Olds 455s get refitted with the 308/308 and call it the W30 cam. It seems like it is a popular cam for a 455 Olds like the 041 type grinds in a Pontiac 455.

I used some single pattern cams similar to the Olds cams in Pontiacs for some dirt track racing. My opinion is the most of Olds 455 engines need the extra duration on the exhaust. More so than many Pontiacs. The cheater version of the w30 had about 20 more degrees on the exhaust than the intake. That is a big split. E/I ratio on the Olds heads is lower than most Pontiac heads.

Here is a Hurst Olds car test. You can year the ruff idle right away. It ran good, best et was a low 13 @ 107 mph. Cool old video.
