I've been able to work on the car some. The brakes that my Dad finished a while ago (probably 10 years) needed another rebuild since they were gunked up. Pulled the master cylinder and rebuilt it, rebuilt the front calipers and replaced the flex lines. Had to pull the vacuum booster also to fix a horrible creaking noise when the brake pedal was pressed. That's all back together and hopefully working. I need to rebleed the brakes once the rear end is back in the car.
I pulled the rear to detail it some and fix a leaking pinion seal, and I think it needs bearings also, so need to figure that out. It's always something  |
