Bought my first in 1984. I was 15. It was a 1967 LeMans. Two door. A/C car with buckets and a console. 2 speed automatic. About 4 different colors of paint and primer. The rear springs were so wore out it sat lower than the front end. But it ran and drove quite well considering.
In those days there was no internet. The best you could do was the local newspaper. I found her listed for $500. A few hours later it was sitting in my drive. I miss that car. You can't buy the VIN tag and title for $500.
