I had the exact same issues with similar damage to my driveshaft and I had new tight fitting u joint straps. I put traction bars on and the problem went away. The traction bars hung low so I got rid of them and the ultimate fix for me was to get 2” lowering springs from Eaton Detroit spring. The car has been fine and I can powershift, dump the clutch etc and the driveshaft doesn’t hit the rear axle.
My thoughts are the original springs in my car had a torch applied to them to lower the car 2”but ruined the temper on the springs causing them to wrap under acceleration.
