Those Caddy's with the big fins bring back good memories. When I was in the 11th & 12th grades, my basketball coach had one. Don't remember the year model. Just remember that it did have the fins.

He would carry us players who were on the starting 5, to many of the games. We could discuss plays & plans for the game, on the way there, as well as discussing things that happened during the game, on the trip back home.

Before I had done any racing, those basketball games were some of the biggest thrills of my life. During my high school years B-ball was a BIG part of my life. I loved it. I would probably have been better at football. But, our little school did not have a football team.

It was also during these high school years that I became aware of the GTO, & wallpapered my room with GTO ads & posters. Also got to see real GTO's makin the loop in our little country town. Probably saw several of 'em pulled up to a gas pump, too.
