Yes, the cross flow muffler of the Dynomax kit uses the original in and out pipe configurationa so factory hangers work.
Flowmaster transverse never used the original in and out pipe configurations (inlet was actually at the top of the muffler, very unusual) so those original type hangers you see on the 70 and up F-bodies would not work.
It's one of the reasons I favor the Dynomax kit.
