Dont know previous history on mine but i stuffed a crank/bearing kit into mine when i got it last year.flickering oil light at idle.put it on the road in September,ive put about 7,000 miles on it so far.only trouble it gave me was a waterpump.its an oil burner,doesnt smoke though,runs mint with great gas mileage,only likes premium gas.its almost a shame to rip it out for the 455
