My 66 Tempest is an original 326, with a 3 on the tree. It was a very base model with a 326 and radio being the only options. It still has the factory rubber floor mat with Pontiac arrowhead logos, instead of carpet, no arm rests in the back seat, and a what looks like a 64 steering wheel, but is original to the car, I don't think I have seen another one like it in a 66. I have added a Muncie 4 speed with a correct bench seat shifter, front power disc brakes, and power steering with a variable ratio steering box out of a Grand Cherokee. I did keep all the correct parts, including the column shifter, and 3 speed tranny.
