It's been like this forever! They low ball you and you want top dollar. I hope they agree to your terms but don't be surprised if they drop you after...or maybe they just do this with home owner claims?
Progressive tried to not pay me after one of their clients hit me saying I ran the red light. I then told her I got 3 witnesses that saw the whole thing.
