I first met Milt at the 1988 Wichita POCI Convention drag races. He had the red '64 GTO that we all know about from the Car & Driver article. He was running high 12's and said it wasn't pulling on top end. I had a few Tri-Power parts with me, so I suggested we put larger .073" jets in the end carbs. We did that and he ran, I believe, a 12.17. I sure wish we had smart phones in those days so I would have pictures and videos of that event.

I remember he was a very good guy to work with and talk with. A big art of our Pontiac hobby has gone wit his passing. RIP, Milt, we'll miss you!
