I found an old article the other day from a Hot Rod magazine that
featured 4L80E being installed in a 67 Chevelle. It didn't seem too difficult, but it's a big trans and took some effort to make it fit.
I also have a mental block when it comes to newfangled electronics.
But it's on the table.
