Sorry for the thread hijack.
The lip that is shown in the OP's pic (blue arrow), is that visible when the upholstery is complete? I never thought about this and am getting closer to paint...my car was Cardinal red with red interior, I am repainting it Cardinal red but changing interior to black, so want to make sure I know what colour I should paint it.
