It's been 40+ years, my memory may be fuzzy about the car I mentioned earlier...
At the time there were a ton of Trans Ams in my little home town, this many years later I could have mixed up which car was which.
Having said that, was it still possible to special order paint colors as late as 1976? The guy I knew came from a well to do family and I wouldn't have put it past him to do so if he could.
