Don't laugh too hard. Do you really think Beavis and Lutzhead wouldn't do that? 
I didn't say GM would replace it with a 6, just offer it as an option. My point was it sounds rather expensive to put an 05 body kit on an 04 and would probably de-value an already rapidly depreciating car. 05s will be a bargain soon and it may be a better move to purchase an 05 rather than outfit an 04 as an 05. There are plenty of pre-pubescent tuner types that would love to get an 04 and stick a big wing with a fart can exhaust on it. It should be relativaly easy to unload an 04 and pick up an 05 at a reasonable price.
