An astute member emailed me asking if the two different solenoids were a different length.

Here ya go GB. Took a few more pics.

The metal cap on the “348” is shorter, but overall length with the threaded studs are the same on both.

The metal heat shield came on the HO/RA cars, so I recommend this on any GTO.

Last pic shows the recent auction on the “348”.
