Default New guy building an LS-swapped 72 Lemans.

Hello all!
I’m Jeremy, and I’m in the process of building a 1972 Lemans sport that has essentially been sitting outside, on dirt, in Massachusetts for 10-15 years unmoved. Through a series of strange events, I traded my customized 88 Honda Hawk motorcycle for it last fall. I then grabbed a 2001 Silverado 2500 6.0L (LQ4) engine from a friend really cheap because he accidentally dropped a bolt down the intake and broke the piston.

I traded the non-matching numbers terrible-running Pontiac 350 for a Chevy TH400 that I’ve since bolted up to the LQ4.

In short, I’m slapping this car together as cheaply as I can with hopes that by mid summer 2018 I can pass the state inspection and have a reliable, fun Muscle car that doesn’t look nice enough to worry too much about.

Oh yeah - and I’m documenting every step of the entire thing on YouTube! So far, I have 20+ videos, and I typically have a new one every weekend.

Here is a link to my first video, I promise they get better!:
