Hello, looking to put the antenna setup back to original on my 1997 firebird I just picked up. I've been told through research 93-early 97 is not the same, and camaro is also different. I've got the metal tube in there now that matches the service manual picture but I think the guts at the top were pulled out so no stud to screw an antenna mast to and I can see into the trunk through the gap they filled with silicone with one of those squiggle spring cell phone type antennas that comes up through the factory rubber grommet on the outside of the quarterpanel.

This is the standard antenna, not a power antenna.
