I´ve found nothing but trouble with non-factory style fuel inlet valves.
Intermittent flooding, restricted flow for WOT runs, stuck cloosed sitting a while to name a few.....
Using the factory style and size inlet valves (no float clips used) since 1991 for the end carbs with no issues in my 1966 Tripower GTO is good enough for me.
