I am going to attempt cross steer. You had mentioned before about trying to use the arm off the original suspension. That's going to be my first attempt. From the looks of things it should pretty much be a straight shot.
Yes, flattening back out are a bit of a concern but if so it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to install new ones.
I got new mounting bolts. I've tried to locate an early truck to see how they were originally but how tight are the springs supposed to fit in the rear brackets?
