Fuse block does not have an IGN terminal. It does have two spare unfused circuits, one of which is has what looks like a condenser attached to it (to prevent radio interference??)and the other is available. But the available circuit is always on (even when the ignition switch is off) and I do not think that is what I want - I only want the choke to be powered when the ignition switch is on.

Goatracer1 - can you provide some more details on the relay you suggest?

It does look as if the suggestion to tie into the windshield wiper/washer hot wire is a solution.
