Do your self a massive favor. Go over to SC&C and buy a pair of adjustable SPC uppers and put a modern front end alignment on that car and really enjoy it.. Get the ones with the .9 tall ball joints...

Try freezing the bushings and heating the control arms in the oven.. Are you sure there not oversize bushings for worn out control arms?
